Our Heritage and Experience

CBSS is built upon over four decades of excellence in the field of defense engineering and critical infrastructure protection, tracing its origins to Cyelcor Ltd, established in 1981 in Limassol, Cyprus, by Kypros Stefanou B.Sc. C.Eng. MIEE.

A Chartered Engineer with a distinguished career in the security and defence sector, Mr. Kypros Stefanou brought extensive experience from sensitive projects across military, residential and government installations. Under his leadership, Cyelcor Ltd executed high-security engineering works for the British Forces Cyprus, US Air Force, RAF, National Guard, District Courts, Central Prisons, and the Cyprus Police, contributing to the protection of strategic assets and national infrastructure. Projects managed by Cyelcor have exceeded €320 million in value over the years.

Today, this legacy is continued through the Stefanou family and existing infrastructure from Cyelcor, consisting of a team of second-generation workforce who combine technical acumen with experience. With a background in administration, information systems engineering, international investment management, and operational leadership across Cyprus, the UK, and the Gulf States, the team guide CBSS with a focus on compliance, resilience, and adherence to strict international standards for all Cyprus bunkers. Under the guidance of the Stefanou family, CBSS-related ventures and advisory operations for Cyprus shelters have exceeded €150 million in value, consistently achieving double-digit ROI across high-security infrastructure and specialized investment portfolios.
